Here’s a bunch of Ballroom Stuff I painted for The Book of Life.
The design/layout of the room was done by Fred Gardner (he did the layout drawing of the full ballroom and some of the main props like the throne chair and table)
Miguel Gonzalez did a bunch of the detail designs (the stained glass window, the stone animal/flower arches and the bottles :P)
It’s all painted flat/with no lighting so it could be passed off to texture easily. Besides that: SO MANY COLORS O_O, I swear every notes pass on this room was “add more color” XD. The overall look/design of this ballroom was influenced by Gaudí's architecture. The color scheme we ended up going with is based off of La Muerte's character colors.

People will say to you whatever they know they can get away with, until that point come when you break; you don’t know why you feel worthless, unwanted, or a joke. You let people tell you you are because you then feel that they are right but I am only now learning something very valuable, and whilst I’m not completely strong I’m learning everyday, THEY ARE NEVER RIGHT!!!!!!!! If you have people in your life who leave you questioning who you are as a person or questioning your worth then they don’t belong in your life. You need never feel guilty for cutting them out of your life. Let me tell you, if you do feel guilty it’s because your a better person than them and you DO consider other people’s feelings but you need to put yourself first. YOUR HAPPINESS COMES FIRST. This is an extremely hard thing to learn when your mind tell you otherwise and you feel like you don’t but you do. Back handed apologies will never fix what they have said! Your still hurt so why forgive people for not considering how something said or done would affect you?! You deserve better!

Hi! I’ve updated my brush pack, and have compiled the stuff into a handy dandy sheet. Click on the image to grab the expanded version, and grab my brush pack here.

(the one you’re interested in is called ‘iS_antialiased’)

The sources of several of these brushes are as follows:
Algenpfleger , Houston Sharp, Paul Scott (from the ‘Using Reference Imaginatively’ pack)

Cheers!
